Tobi Neumann

Tobias Neumann operates as Tobi Neumann from Berlin, born July 19, 1965. The German producer and DJ began his electronic music career in 1995 after visiting Tresor club, transitioning from his work as a sound engineer for TV productions and commercial jingle composer in the 1980s. Neumann initially established himself in Munich as resident DJ at club "Ultraschall II," where he hosted the "Flokati House Club" from 1998, before relocating to Berlin. He runs Apollo Studio and formed the duo BPitch Control around 2002, expanding into production and remix work.

Neumann produces peak time driving techno alongside tech house and deep house, releasing on Mobilee Records, SPANDAU20, and Fjaak since his first documented release in October 2014. His sound spans from driving 130+ BPM techno designed for peak hour club moments to deeper, more restrained house productions suitable for warm-up and after-hour sets. The producer maintains an active release schedule through 2025, demonstrating consistent output across Berlin's established underground label network. His productions reflect Berlin's contemporary techno sound while incorporating house influences developed during his Munich club residency years.
