Topspin is Ukrainian DJ and producer Olexly "Alex" Ponomaryov, based in Kyiv. He began releasing electronic music in January 2010 and maintained activity through November 2013, with five releases documented during this period.
His sound spans deep house, tech house, minimal deep tech, and peak time driving techno. Topspin's productions move between the deeper, atmospheric territories of minimal tech and the more driving energy of peak time techno, offering DJs versatility across different parts of a set. His work during the 2010-2013 period demonstrates a range that covers both the contemplative side of deep house and the more assertive dynamics of tech house and techno.
