Tracey

Tracey is the production alias of Amsterdam-based producer Tom Ruijg, who began releasing electronic music in 2018. Operating from Amsterdam, Ruijg has released five records under the Tracey moniker across three respected underground labels between 2018 and 2020.

Tracey produces house and techno with a focus on peak time driving rhythms and leftfield approaches to both genres. The project has released material on Dial, Voyage Direct, and Aus Music, three labels known for releasing forward-thinking electronic music. Tracey's sound spans from house to driving techno, incorporating electronic elements that sit within the leftfield house and techno spectrum, making the music suitable for both peak time sets and more experimental DJ contexts.
