About
Trunkline is a techno duo consisting of Madben and Yann Lean, operating as a side project from the two producers. The group began releasing music in March 2019 with their debut on Arkham Audio. Benjamin Leclercq and Yann Lean maintain their own website at trunkline.net alongside their collaborative project.
Trunkline produces driving peak-time techno alongside raw, deep, and hypnotic variations of the genre. The duo has released music on established techno labels including Arkham Audio, Off Recordings, Gynoid Audio, and Planet Rhythm between 2019 and 2023. Their sound spans from peak-time driving rhythms suitable for main room sets to deeper, more hypnotic compositions that work in extended DJ sets. The project has maintained consistent output with five releases across their four-year active period.
