TWO LANES

TWO LANES is a Berlin-based duo formed by brothers Leo and Rafael Schmid in 2018. The group began releasing music on Electrobuzz in 2021, with their first release appearing in June of that year. The brothers blend acoustic piano recordings with analogue synthesizers and minimal beat elements to create their melodic sound.

The duo produces across melodic house & techno, tech house, electronica, house, and dance/pop genres. TWO LANES releases primarily through Cercle Records, with five releases documented between 2021 and 2026. Their sound incorporates neo-classical and ambient influences alongside melodic techno elements, creating tracks that range from atmospheric electronica to dancefloor-focused house music. The brothers' approach combines organic piano textures with electronic production, positioning their releases within the melodic house spectrum while maintaining crossover appeal into broader electronic dance music categories.
