Ultra Nate

Ultra Naté Wyche is an American house singer, songwriter, record producer and DJ from Havre de Grace, Maryland, born March 20, 1968. She was discovered by the Basement Boys while studying pre-med in college, leading her to drop out and pursue music full-time. Ultra Naté became one of the first house music artists to secure a major label deal when Warner Bros. Records UK signed her in the 1990s. She runs two labels, Blufire and Deep Sugar Music, and has maintained a particularly strong following on the European dance scene throughout her career.

Her recent releases on Electrobuzz span Afro House and House, appearing on labels including King Street Sounds, Nervous Records, and Cr2 Records between 2019 and 2025. Ultra Naté's sound draws from classic house foundations while incorporating Afro House rhythms and contemporary production techniques. Her releases demonstrate consistent four-four house grooves suitable for peak-time sets, with her vocal performances remaining a central element of her productions.
