Umah

Umah is the electronic music alias of Swedish artist Peter Forsberg, who previously operated under the name Phonetik as a rapper before transitioning to electronic production. He began releasing electronic music in March 2018 and has since established himself across multiple underground labels including dZb Records, M4rlow Records, and Wrong State Recordings.

Umah produces raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside deep house, with five releases spanning from 2018 to 2025. His sound occupies the darker, more introspective corners of both genres, crafting tracks that work equally well in intimate club settings and larger techno rooms. The Swedish producer's output demonstrates a consistent focus on atmospheric depth rather than peak-time aggression, making his releases particularly suited for DJs building extended sets that prioritize mood and progression over immediate dancefloor impact.
