Unisson is the Romanian duo of Alex Draghici and Teodorescu Nicolae, who began releasing music in 2020. The pair operates under several aliases including Melo-Manos, Alexandru Draghici, and Teodorescu Nicolae, with Macca Dread listed as an additional member. They run their own imprint UNS Records, which serves as the primary outlet for their releases.
The duo produces minimal and deep tech compositions that sit comfortably in the 120-128 BPM range, delivering hypnotic grooves designed for extended club sets. Their seven releases span UNS Records, storytellers records, and self-released material, showcasing a consistent approach to stripped-down electronic music. Unisson's tracks feature subtle percussion programming and atmospheric textures that work effectively in the deeper hours of a DJ set, maintaining the restrained energy characteristic of contemporary minimal techno.
