Upwellings

Upwellings is the project of Vincent Raude, who began releasing electronic music in 2010. Operating under several aliases including Lower Groundz and The Secret Church Orchestra, Raude has released 15 tracks across multiple labels since his debut. He runs his own imprint Dubwellings alongside releasing on established labels like spclnch, Telrae, and Greyscale.

His sound spans raw and hypnotic techno through to dub techno territories, with occasional ventures into dubstep and peak time driving techno. The Dubwellings releases showcase his deeper, more atmospheric approach to techno production, while his output on labels like Greyscale leans toward harder, more club-focused material. His tracks range from meditative dub techno explorations to high-energy peak time cuts, demonstrating versatility across different tempos and moods within the techno spectrum.
