Vaein Artist Bio

VAEIN is the work of independent solo musician Robert Finder. Based in Sydney, Australia, VAEIN is electronic music with rock (non)sensibilities, cut with glitch and industrial noises. Dirty digital beats contrast with organic keys and guitars to create an atmosphere that carries Finder’s unique vocals and poignant lyrical content. VAEIN has been compared to artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, Marilyn Manson and Aphex Twin.

He is also a visual artist, working with stills and the moving image. His work is arresting and confrontational. He shows us, through music or image, that which often goes unseen. It is an iron fist in a velvet glove, a stain on white. It is the moment when the ripe begins to decay. VAEIN is the abstraction of the human condition and emotion.

Finder aims to create an emotional, immersive environment for the listener. Through particular production techniques such as panning, delay and 5.1 surround, Finder creates an environment, a space, where the listener becomes an active observer; each listen to VAEIN unveils new sounds and nuances.
