Vakula

Vakula is the alias of Mikhaylo Vityk, a DJ and producer from Konotop, Ukraine. He began releasing music in 2010 and operates under several aliases including Viguel and Vedomir. Vityk founded the labels Seven Villas and Heart To Heart Records, establishing himself as both an artist and label owner within the electronic music scene.

Vakula produces deep house and minimal deep tech, releasing music on respected labels including Dekmantel, Arma, and Phonogramme alongside his own imprints. His sound centers on deep, atmospheric house music with minimal techno influences, crafted for dancefloors that favor hypnotic, groove-driven sets. With 23 releases spanning over a decade of activity, his catalog demonstrates consistent output across the deeper end of the house music spectrum, making his tracks suitable for extended DJ sets that prioritize mood and progression over peak-time energy.
