Villa is a Belgian electronic music group from Ghent that formed in 2009, originally comprising Frédéric De Smet, Trang Thung Thang, and Sebastiaan Vandevoorde. The project now consists of Trang Thung Thang and François De Meyer after the departure of the original founding members. The duo began releasing electronic music through various underground labels in 2017, with their debut release appearing on September 28th of that year.
Villa produces house and techno across multiple subgenres, ranging from tech house to raw, deep, and hypnotic techno, as well as peak time driving techno tracks. Their releases appear on labels including BeatFreak Recordings, LABURNŪM Records, Loud Pressings, RAW, and Klinika Musik, with eight releases spanning from 2017 to 2025. The group's sound encompasses both the driving energy suitable for peak-time sets and deeper, more hypnotic elements that work in underground club environments, making their catalog versatile for DJs working across different phases of a night.
