Waeys

Waeys is the production alias of Casper Van Wijngaarden, a Dutch drum and bass producer based in Amsterdam. He began releasing music in April 2021 and has since issued eight releases across multiple electronic music genres. Van Wijngaarden operates as a solo artist under the Waeys moniker, with his work spanning from 2021 through 2026.

His sound encompasses drum and bass, neurofunk, and deep dnb as core elements, while also exploring house, deep house, melodic house and techno, and tech house territories. Waeys releases music through Critical Music, a prominent drum and bass imprint, and appears on Curation Best Of 2025 compilations. His production style bridges the gap between the driving energy of neurofunk and the deeper, more atmospheric side of drum and bass, making his tracks suitable for both peak-time dance floor moments and more introspective listening sessions.
