White Lies

White Lies is a UK group formed in Ealing in 2008, consisting of Harry McVeigh on lead vocals and guitar, Charles Cave on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Jack Lawrence-Brown on drums. The band previously operated under the alias Fear Of Flying before adopting their current name. They signed to Fiction Records at their first gig in February 2008 and are based in London.

White Lies produces house music across multiple subgenres including deep house, tech house, afro house, and melodic house & techno. The group has released five tracks on Electrobuzz since their first electronic release in May 2014, with releases appearing on Spectrum (NL) and Armada Music Albums. Their electronic output spans from 2014 through to a scheduled 2025 release, representing a significant evolution from their original post-punk and indie rock sound into electronic dance music territories.
