Womack

Womack is a hard rock band from Forssa, Finland. The band was formed in 2010 when bassist Perttu Myllykangas, guitarist Janne Hartikainen, drummer Jaakko Leino and vocalist Henrik Haarlo got together to form a rock group. Their first EP, Year of the Dog was released in October 2011, and consisted of 3 tracks.

Womack's music is essentially hard rock, but combines various elements from stoner rock, punk, and heavy metal into the mix. Haarlo's intense and varied vocal style, Myllykangas' and Leino's grooving rhythm work and Hartikainen's driving guitar riffing and solos give the band a sound of their own, with plenty of grinding low end growl, hooking guitar riffs and licks, and heavy breakdowns.
