Woods

Woods is an American group from Brooklyn that began as a folk rock project in 2005 but has evolved into electronic music production since 2011. The group includes members G. Lucas Crane, Jarvis Taveniere, Jeremy Earl, Kevin Morby, and John Andrews, transitioning from their neo-psychedelic rock origins to house and techno production over the past decade. They have released 9 electronic music releases between 2011 and 2024 on labels including T&W Records and Running Back.

Their electronic output spans house, nu disco, and peak time driving techno, alongside indie dance productions. Woods releases on Running Back, the respected German label known for disco-influenced house, as well as T&W Records. Their sound incorporates both the groove-focused approach of nu disco and the driving energy of peak time techno, creating music suitable for both deeper house sets and more energetic dance floor moments.
