Wost is the project of German composer and multimedia artist Bernhard Wöstheinrich, born June 28, 1968 in Herzebrock. Based in Gütersloh, Wöstheinrich holds a degree in Design and operates as CEO of Iapetus media consulting and Reuter and Wöstheinrich GbR media production. He also releases music under the alias The Redundant Rocker and began releasing material as Wost in 2025.
Wost's sound spans Bass/Club, Electronica, and Dance/Pop territories across releases on TraTraTrax, YUKU, and Trip Recordings. The project represents a departure into club-focused electronic music from Wöstheinrich's broader compositional background. With five releases scheduled between January and November 2025, Wost explores rhythmic electronic music designed for dancefloor contexts while maintaining the producer's multimedia artistic sensibilities.
