Wuki is the solo project of Denver-based producer Kris Barman, who also produces under the alias MoxJet. Barman draws influence from Detroit ghetrotech and Chicago footwork scenes, incorporating elements of booty, breaks, electro, and house into his productions.

Wuki's sound spans tech house, peak time techno, raw techno, afro house, and deep house territories. His releases appear on Catch & Release and Repopulate Mars, with his first documented release dating to April 2024. Barman's approach blends hard-hitting club elements with genre-crossing tendencies, moving between the driving energy of peak time techno and the groove-focused rhythms of afro and deep house within his catalog.
