Wyro

Ukrainian-born Kirill Kalashnikov operates under the alias Wyro, having started his electronic music journey in 1999 in Surgut, Siberia, where he began exploring Fast Tracker audio software. He initially produced jungle and drum & bass tracks under the name Implex before transitioning to his current sound. Kalashnikov also releases music under the aliases KA and his real name.

Wyro produces minimal and deep tech house, releasing on labels including Cyclic Records, HEISENBERG, Subtil, and Micronica Records since his first release in June 2019. His productions blend warm, atmospheric elements with mystical undertones, creating tracks that range from summer night-inspired warmth to darker, ritualistic moods. The sound represents a significant evolution from his early jungle and drum & bass roots, now focusing on the deeper, more hypnotic end of the techno spectrum that appeals to DJs seeking sophisticated minimal selections.
