X-Dream is a German electronic music duo from Hamburg consisting of Marcus C. Maichel and Jan Müller, active since 1991. The group operates under several aliases including XME, Abet, and Bay City Ravers, establishing themselves initially in the goa trance and psy-trance scenes before expanding into techno territories.
The duo's current sound spans peak time driving techno, raw hypnotic techno, classic electro, indie dance, and jackin house, with releases appearing on Volta and Curation Best Of 2025 labels since May 2025. Their five-release catalog demonstrates a shift from their psytrance roots toward harder-edged techno productions, delivering both the deep hypnotic elements and driving peak-time energy that modern techno DJs require across different sets and dance floor moments.
