XDB

XDB is the production alias of Kosta Athanassiadis, a DJ and producer from Göttingen, Germany. He began releasing music in 2011 and has maintained a focused output through the Amam label, where he has released six tracks spanning nearly a decade from 2011 to 2020.

XDB's sound encompasses peak time and driving techno alongside dub techno, house, and minimal deep tech. His releases on Amam demonstrate a range from harder-edged peak time material to more atmospheric dub techno explorations. The productions maintain the driving energy characteristic of contemporary German techno while incorporating the spacious, reverb-heavy textures of dub techno. His approach to minimal deep tech focuses on hypnotic grooves and subtle sonic shifts that work effectively in extended DJ sets.
