Yaruba

Yaruba is a group project that emerged as a hiatus offshoot from the established Booka Shade collective. The act began releasing music in May 2015 and has maintained consistent output through 2025, with nine releases documented across the underground electronic circuit.

Yaruba operates primarily within the tech house and deep house spectrum, incorporating elements of minimal deep tech and Afro house influences into their productions. The group releases music through Blaufield Music and appeared on the Top Tracks of 2025 compilation. Their sound spans from the deeper, more contemplative territories of house music to the driving rhythms of tech house, offering DJs versatile material that bridges multiple subgenres within the four-four framework. The Afro house elements in their catalog suggest incorporation of percussive patterns and organic textures that complement their European electronic foundation.
