Yofunk

Yofunk (real name Yordan Petrov) is a bulgarian electronic music producer. He was born in 1990 in Ruse, Bulgaria and grew up in Vidin. He started gaining interest in dance music in the 2000s. Being a follower of the techno sound at first, he found new love in deep and tech house at the end of the decade.

In September 2009, Yofunk released his first track titled 'Restart' for Loco Records. It received largely positive response from the likes of Soul Minority and Shur-I-Kan, thus motivating him to continue working on his music, as well as signing an EP to Shur-I-Kan's Dark Energy imprint. Yordan has also been working with close friend and fellow producer Nick Nikolov from Surrealism.
