Yuka

Yuka is the alias of Irina Solobutova, a Russian producer originally from Moscow who relocated to Dharamshala, India. She began releasing music in 2014 and operates her own self-titled label alongside her output for other imprints. Since her debut, she has maintained a focused catalog of five releases spanning a decade-long career.

Her sound centers on peak time driving techno with exploratory ventures into dub techno and classic Detroit electro territories. Yuka releases primarily through Edit Select and her own yuka imprint, delivering tracks that range from hypnotic dub-influenced pieces to harder-edged club material.
