Zamky is a Czech alternative rock group from Olomouc that formed in 1985, originally known as Hynkovy Zámky. The band consists of Ivan Lučan, Roman Cerman, Tomáš Kalandřík, and René Müller. After disbanding in the 1990s, the group reunited in 2008 and began releasing electronic music under the shortened name Zamky in 2021.
Zamky produces tech house and house music, releasing tracks across labels including Hotfingers, Muzenga Records, Undercode Records, Klaphouse Records, and Baikonur Recordings. Since their first electronic release in July 2021, the group has put out seven releases spanning tech house and house genres. Their transition from alternative rock to electronic music represents a complete genre shift, with their current output focusing on dancefloor-oriented house music suitable for club environments.
