ZDS is the project of Zak Dean-Stone, a DJ and producer based in Edinburgh. He began releasing electronic music in October 2013 and has maintained consistent output through 2025, with 19 releases spanning over a decade of production work.
ZDS operates primarily within tech house and house music, extending into deep house and minimal/deep tech territories. His releases appear on established labels including Toolroom, Dirtybird, Toy Tonics, Material, and This And That. The music maintains the driving energy characteristic of tech house while incorporating deeper, more stripped-back elements that align with minimal techno sensibilities.
