Sek – Prime Cuts 02 Sampler [Lost My Dog] Greek DJ and producer Sek is responsible for the second installment in Lost My Dog’s Prime Cuts mix compilation series, which began in 2013 with Dale Howard. The concept for Prime Cuts is simple and sees a Lost My Dog artist select their favourite tracks from the label’s extensive catalogue, create a DJ mix and add a few of their own brand new productions. This sampler contains three brand new cuts from Sek – ‘DK’s Moo Thing’, ‘Chi To Go Moodz’ and ‘Just Ducky’ – ahead of the full mixed compilation which includes tracks and remixes by Ian Pooley, Pezzner, Pete Dafeet, YSE, Mr. V and James Dexter. The sampler containing the three new Sek tracks will be released on 2nd June, and the full compilation on 16th June. Beginning with the rolling and percussive elements of From A Phe, Santos reminds us why he remains one of the great exports from the label, with this being his third fully-fledged solo EP on Saved. Balanced perfectly with sharp drums, and an infectious vocal throughout, From A Phe leads effortlessly onto the jackin’ grooves of the flip side.
