Cortex Recordings

Cortex Recordings is an independent Techno label headed by Dutch producer/DJ Tony Tyson, founded in 2017.
The label is an outlet for Tyson’s own productions as well as material from like-minded artists; the first of which is the very talented DJ/producer Delphunk from Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
The Cortex Recordings sound is all about dark, synth driven Techno with influences from acid, deep and dub techno. Among the releases there will also be more experimental productions, although always firmly rooted in the Techno ethos.
The name Cortex Recordings was inspired by the notion of being able to express musical ideas directly from their point of origin; human imagination. The label is dedicated to making the best of these creations available to the public.
