From its early days, Molecular has been synonymous with quality underground techno music. The label has a reputation for releasing material from respected and established artists in the scene, including prominent names such as Claude Young, Jeroen Search, Oliver Ho, Mr G, and Kelly Hand. Molecular has also been instrumental in discovering and promoting new talent, with several emerging artists making their debut on the label. DJ Bone’s first-ever release was on Molecular, Similarly, Inigo Kennedy, another talented producer, released his first-ever record on a label on the Molecular label. Molecular was also the first UK label to release the music of Chris Liebing, The label’s support for both established and emerging artists has helped establish it as a highly influential and respected record label within the underground techno scene. Today, Molecular continues to promote new talent from the current generation of artists, including Linear System, Mal Hombre, Flaws, and Ma Haiping, among others.

Molecular means cutting-edge techno, evolving with the time, but concentrating on releasing good quality music, proud of being open to new talents and featuring some of the most innovative sounds. The label has since expanded, releasing some excellent debuts and special releases. In addition to its regular releases, the label also re launched a series called “The XX Series,” which features no track names and is essentially a deeper branch of Molecular, allowing established techno names to experiment further to the forefront of Techno.
