Finnish producer Klas-Henrik Lindblad operates under the Freestyle Man alias, with additional projects as Sasse, Morris Brown, and Bluekey, and is now based in Berlin. His sound spans deep house and peak time techno across labels including Moodmusic, Studio Barnhus, and Mule Musiq since 2010.

For the 6th release on Electric Appliances we have another 3 track various artist EP. Starting with Freestyle Man with his ‘Breakdown 2020’, already featured on Axel Boman’s excellent Circo Loco mix from earlier in the year. Electro Soul is the game here, and a bit twisted if you like. The main hook line comes from OB-8 from 1983 which acts as a time machine, forwarding you to a future where the there is no past. Freestyle Man creates a dystopian feeling with sinister pads and a heavy bassline.
2nd up is the debut from Alberto Pretto, Italian born wizard of the studio who is now based in Berlin. ‘Quartz Resonators’ is a slamming piece of electro, with 808 driven beats and a mad, almost IDM sounding hook which resonates the right places on the dancefloor.
The master of deepness, Tesla 286 finalises the EP in fine style with ‘Le Monde De Traurigkeit’, a symphonic piece with a 4/4 feel, although as always, Tesla 286 floats above these kind of limitations, ready to take us on the journey of Sojuz 6.
