We bring you the second instalment of the BOTANICA series on Redsonja Records, a project directed by Pelacha with the collaboration of Matistica Plastica a.k.a. m.a.d.r.(e) who illustrates Pelachas sounds, based on a processed nature. On this second instalment youll find the result more surrounding, relaxing and evocative, with sounds that take you to unreal dimensions. FLOATING IN MY FATE is a dub infected soft techno track. Subtle funky percussion and a deep bass are surrounded by layers of deep, warm synths. As the song evolves in emotion and intensity the synths gain brightness and presence, creating a feeling of paradox, oppressing and liberating at the same time. A moving piece of soulful techno. SOLIPSYS starts with a dramatic synth arpeggio that comes and goes in volume. A broken bass drum beat creates and abstract rhythm over which different synths, from acid drones to melancholic pads, evolve and grow in intensity. Avant-garde electronica full of emotion and soul.
