Esperanza Camacho, known professionally as Pelacha, is a Madrid-based DJ and producer who began her career in the late 1980s. Born in 1967 in Madrid, she has performed internationally throughout her decades-long career. Since 2010, Pelacha runs RedSonja Records, distributed by Glasgow's Rubadub, and also operates under the Redsonja alias.
Pelacha produces peak time driving techno and tech house, releasing exclusively on her own RedSonja Records imprint. Her five releases span from 2011 to 2016, showcasing high-energy productions designed for prime-time dance floor moments. The driving techno tracks maintain the relentless momentum characteristic of peak hour sets, while her tech house offerings blend the percussive elements of house with techno's mechanical precision.
