Loose-limbed percussion, scratchy funk guitars, trilling flute and rubber necked basslines are sivved, folded and flambéed while chef concocts a deep disco marinade with sugar, spice and all things nice. “Vanda Blad” bounds out the speakers with real purpose and passion with tuned percussion and tropical melodies riding a crunchy beat and slick bassline. “Paradigmskifte” drops the pace and unwinds into intoxicating hypno-funk workout perfect for fireside rituals. Golden Ivy decorates the irrepressible groove with exotic flute leads and dry guitar chops, offering his own take on island music. Finally we head into the fuzzy paradise of “Sval Sommar”, a slacker funk ode, filtered through a fug of green smoke!
