The Italian dj and producer Memoryman aka Uovo got his new ep “Love” out on Flashmob Ltd. His musical works over the past years cover some variously shaped but like-minded tempered sounds between house, deep house and disco edits ranging from 90 to 120bpm on labels like Puas Puas, It’s A Small World Disco, Re»»Vox or his self-run imprints Oh Christo! and Manocalda as well as deep and techy club house as he is also one third of the Pastaboys. Now Memoryman is back on the deeper sides with two heady, groovy modern house warmers. The title track called “Love” comes along as a beautiful morning house floater, combining positive trippy deepness and nice r’n’b vocal parts that reminds of early of 90’s dance vibes. “I Never See You” grabs a repetitive vocal fragment to build a mesmerizing club groove that should kindly elevate most dancers with its neo acid disco bassline. Last but not least Nick Anthony Simoncino aka Simoncino, known for his charming oldschool vibes, did a “Warehouse Mix” to transform “Love” with swirling claps and dry drum works into some deep Chicago disco pleasure.
