Meet the Artists Behind This Release
Berlin-based Bulgarian songwriter and vocalist Denitza Todorova produces indie dance and house music under the name Dena. Her releases appear on Permanent Vacation and Running Back, blending pop sensibilities with dance floor-focused production.
Phillip Lauer is a German DJ and producer from Frankfurt who operates under several aliases including Brontosaurus and DJ Speckgürtel. His indie dance and nu disco productions appear on Permanent Vacation, Running Back, and Live At Robert Johnson, spanning house and melodic techno across 55 releases since 2011.
On “Make It Stay” new collaborator Dena plays Cosey to Lauer’s Chris, and the pair craft the kind of song that would sound perfect on a teenage spin in mom’s convertible VW Cabriolet. And long-time pal Gerd Janson pushes all the right buttons for that feeling of cool wind with the roof open.//
