Slam is a Glasgow-based duo consisting of Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle, who co-founded Soma Records in 1991. They produce driving techno and tech house, releasing primarily on their own Soma imprint alongside select appearances on FIGURE.
Soma label heads return with a full collective release of all their Strange Dayz tracks on one EP.
Created throughout lockdown and originally released individually only as part of the Bandcamp Fridays, Slam now collect all 4 of the Strange Dayz series tracks under one collective banner. Each individual track serves as an insight into the deep and more reflective side of McMillan & Meikles production style, standing strong and offering the drive, energy and fervour of their current releases on Soma.
