Contributing Artists – This And That Roster
Davide Squillace is an Italian DJ and producer born in Naples who currently operates from Barcelona, where he runs the This And That label. His output spans tech house and minimal deep tech across prominent imprints including Crosstown Rebels, SCI+TEC, and Moon Harbour Recordings.
Ninetoes is German producer Özgür Yelmen, active since 2013 with releases on Moon Harbour Recordings, Kling Klong, and his own Head To Toe imprint. His productions span tech house and deep house, with recent explorations into afro house rhythms across 41 releases.
After a year’s hiatus waiting out the pandemic, ‘This And That’ is back with a brand new facelift and approach. To kick start the new look, label owner Davide Squillace combines his production prowess with Berlin based Ninetoes to present ‘The Pied Pipers EP’.
Featuring two tracks of electronic wizardry, this production pair shine a focus light on the woodwind family of the instrument world and blend in their signature percussive tones and expressions. The first track ‘Vending Machine’ kicks off the journey with an electic throbbing groove, whilst the second track ‘Kill The Flute’ doubles up on percussive energy.//
