Meet the Artist Behind This Release
Portuguese producer Artur Moreira releases raw and hypnotic techno under the NØRBAK alias, operating his own NRBK label since 2017. His driving techno productions appear on Soma Records, Token, Hayes, and MindTrip, spanning peak-time bangers to deep electronica across 33 releases.
Portuguese based talent, Nørbak returns to Soma with another mind bending release packed with 3 originals and a superbly crafted remix from Spanish techno royalty, Reeko. Since joining up with Soma back in 2020, the young producer has continually upped his game with every release and now drop this 4th EP with the label.
His Reign Is Over is a fierce yet hypnotic affair, packed with thundering low end and trippy soundscapes. Reekos interpretation of the opening track harks back to his earlier, tougher productions yet still retains the hypnotism of Nørbaks original. Pragmatically Speaking is a proper warped and tripped out number that utilises spacial FX to give it width and depth. Title track, Theres No Lesson, closes out this latest EP from Nørbak with expertly produced drive and aggression balanced against his signature looped out sound.
