About Lisa Shaw & Miguel Migs
Lisa Shaw is a Toronto-born R&B and house vocalist who relocates her soulful approach across deep house and Afro house productions. She releases on King Street Sounds, Soulfuric Deep, and Armada Music Albums, blending neo soul vocals with house rhythms since 2013.
Miguel Migs (Miguel Sundance Steward) is a deep house DJ and producer from San Francisco who co-founded Transport Recordings in 1998 and launched his own label Salted Music in 2004. His deep house and nu disco productions appear on Salted Music and Soulfuric Deep, with over 100 remixes including work for Britney Spears, Macy Gray and Lionel Richie.
Going the extra mile following his latest LP ‘Shaping Visons’, Soulfuric Deep now delivers a fresh sonic aesthetic with a brand-new remix package for Miguel Migs ‘Promises’ featuring Lisa Shaw. Migs is back with the collective Girls of the Internet in tow and Andrea Bertolini’s solo project Antenna!. While Girls Of The Internet deliver pop-tinged house grooves with strong disco and soul influences, Andrea Bertolini proudly displays his synth-addicted disposition and his sound craftmanship. Arranged with deep house royalty Lisa Shaw’s soulful vocal, all that was left was for Miguel to linger in his ‘moody creative space’…and it’s a match made in heaven.
