Miguel Migs

Miguel Migs, born Miguel Sundance Steward on December 6, 1972, operates from San Francisco as a deep house DJ and producer originally from Santa Cruz, California. He began his musical career at 18 as songwriter and lead guitarist for local dub band Zion Sounds before transitioning to electronic music production. In 1998, he co-founded Transport Recordings, then launched his own imprint Salted Music in 2004. He releases music under several aliases including Petalpusher, Deluxe Pusher, and Miguel Steward, with 37 releases documented on Electrobuzz spanning from 2011 to 2025.

His sound centers on deep house and classic house, with releases spanning Salted Music, Soulfuric Deep, and Deepalma. Migs produces groove-oriented tracks that blend traditional house elements with nu disco influences, maintaining consistent quality that has earned him Beatport Top 100 placements and inclusion in Top Tracks of 2025 compilations.
