Serbian producer, Milo Raad, returns to Soma after appearing on last years Collective process VA with a full EP of his own solid and hypnotic tracks on the Hornet EP. Balancing driving, heady and cerebral sound with subtle rhythmic movement, Raad builds a quality release packed with power and attitude.
Solaris opens the EP with perfectly crafted, syncopated rhythms that gradually builds and creating a perfect storm of Techno. The Hornet drifts in to more hypnotic and dark territory as buzzing synths lines form the backbone of the track. Bacteria (Locked Drum Version) has Read crafting the perfect DJ tool complete with droning atmospheres as Voyager closes out with Raads signature deep and pervasive sound.
