About Robert Babicz
Robert Babicz is a Polish-born producer based in Cologne, Germany, who runs his own Babiczstyle label and releases under the Rob Acid alias. His productions span tech house and deep house on labels including Bedrock Records, Selador, and Traum, with over 100 releases since 2009.
A brand new star in the Babicz constellation, Kelch was born out of necessity, a need to expand upon Robert Babicz’s signature sound palette, carefully crafted since the early 90s as Rob Acid and moving on to the sound we know and love today. Kelch is an intimate affair, showcasing some of Robert’s works in broader horizons, from thumping Techno to slinky Drum & Bass and beyond. The first release features opposite spectrum pieces, one mellow, tame and melodic, the other, rough, tough and wild but both of them, all Babicz, all the way.//
