Almost to the day one year after his last release on Diynamic, Irish-born, Berlin based producer New Spectrum returns to the label with his four-tracker EP „Out Of My Head”.
A dirty distorted kick drum announce his advent on the opening/title track. Celestial choir voices are then breached by a frenetic voice that commends her demons to vacate her mind. A powerful percussive illustration about the insane feeling of not being able to get rid of the thought of another person.
„Got To Have It” which feels like a Bristol club conversation at peak hours: you gotta be at the top of your lungs to let em hear ya, just like the track’s energy level,
while „Fly Away” is a beautifully served concoction of 90s club sound, summery pop and at times even UK garage that does not intend on leaving your ear any time soon.
