ICONYC returns to purvey a series of extremely volatile compounds with Argia and her highly anticipated imprint debut, Dirty Poem. Featuring a stellar cast of remixes, including works by Nick Morgan, Fiona Kraft, KEKURA, and Yubik, this unique six-track capsule presents Argia at her most uninhibited version On opener “Dirty Poem”, acidic electrical impulses slowly surge through the mainframe as they interlock over low-end stabs and spinning cogs. As the machine turns, the Spanish starlet deploys a sultry vocal that infuses the piece with a smoldering headiness before she unveils a most delectable second act, offsetting a controlled kind of chaos engineered to arouse and bewilder. Next up, Argia drives the knife home with “BAE”. A scrumptious hybrid that treads across dark and sensual terrains as a throbbing bassline races across forgotten vocals and neon-lit chords, clipping corners at maximum speed before pulling back the curtains on a tightrope act of a breakdown for a high-octane debut.
