Eugene Carnell returns to Piston Recordings with Dancefloor Music, the follow-up to his label debut Get Down EP. A seasoned UK DJ with years behind the decks, Eugene has long crafted his own edits and originals for his sets. Lockdown marked a turning point, pushing him to dive deeper into production. Since then, his groove-driven sound has been gaining momentum, earning support across the scene. Its great to welcome him back with another standout release. Dancefloor Music opens the release, introing with a solid, punchy kick drum, sharp claps, and shuffling, crispy hi-hats that instantly lock in a tight groove. An infectious chord pad sets a warm, rhythmic tone, while cool spoken vocals add a touch of character throughout. As the energy builds, a groovy bassline takes full control, driving the track forward with confidence. Diva-esque vocal flourishes emerge, injecting a vibrant club vibe, while electrified lead synths weave a mesmerizing melodic sequence that elevates the atmosphere.
