Helene Rickhard – Unpredictable Express Remixes Helene is a hidden gem in the Norwegian electronic music underground. Unknown to the outside world, but a beloved dj and producer here back home. Known for her eclectic dj-sets, adventurous taste and her ear watering record collection. We had the pleasure to release her debut album, the cosmic masterpiece “Unpredictable Express” in November last year. Now we are concluding the work with this remix ep, featuring contributions from some of Helene’s friends in the local scene. Legendary Cosmic Disco producer and DJ extraordinaire Rune Lindbæk brings slow, acid funk and cosmic vibrations to the title track, Unpredictable Express. Free-wheeling, Oslo based producer Center of the Universe sheds his magic on “Lost at Sea”, turning it into a beautiful, deep, snail house chugger. Queer activist, sound artist and writer Bjørn Hatterud beefs up closing track “Summer of 9.2” with his sonic innovations. Last but certainly not least, fellow Norwegian Southerner, Christian Rot turns the same track into a dirty, acid bomb, destined to tear up any willing dance floor.
