The record label Dux Sonus Records is launching a new Various Artists compilation series called Hypnoface. Some time ago, a very interesting phenomenon began to occur. Some people started noticing faces appearing in the space around them and in place of other people’s faces. We have not observed any negative effects on people or the world resulting from this phenomenon. In fact, even those who experienced these changes noticed positive effects, such as clarity of thought, balance, and calm. This intriguing phenomenon is called “Hypnoface.” In this series of compilations, we’ll dive deep into the world of Hypnoface, exploring its mysteries and implications. Given that this phenomenon has not yet been fully studied, we will examine and observe it throughout this series of techno and electronic music compilations. These will be released on our label, “Dux Sonus Records,” and today we present the first compilation in this innovative series, designed to explore and celebrate Hypnoface. This compilation is the first release in the series. It features four musicians from around the world, each presenting unique and diverse sound works. Pedro Pina (Spain) The first compilation in the series opens with Spanish hypnotic techno musician Pedro Pina and his track titled Vacunia, a very deep, hypnotic work with a unique, interesting, and profound techno-style mood. Pedro Pinas tracks always take their listeners into a very deep, special state of mind and consciousness, and don’t let them switch to the next track. Samuel L Session (Sweden) The second artist continuing this compilation is Swedish techno musician Samuel L Session, with a very interesting track titled R3, and his own unique approach to dancefloor-oriented music, combined with deeper, more minimalistic atmospheres. The Samuels’ wide perspective on techno music, the dance floor, and the depth of techno sound always has a strong impact on listeners and dancefloor visitors. Dietriangle (Italy) The third track comes from a Northern Italian musician, Dietriangle, who contributed a piece titled Ashram. With this track, Dietriangle refers to the idea of a spiritual sanctuary or community. The composition is dedicated to meditation and Indian spiritual practices. Subtle sounds reminiscent of the Far East can also be heard throughout the track, clearly emphasising both the concept and the sonic atmosphere of the piece. Andrey Detochkin (Latvia) Fourth track by Andrey Deotchkin, a techno musician from Latvia and the Dux Sonus record label head. The track is dynamic and spins the listener’s and the dancefloor participants’ attention. Special thanks to Natalia Maca for the artworks, video content, and support in creating this compilation. Samuel L Session is Swedish producer Samuel Larsson from Gothenburg, who co-founded Solid Beat Records in 1996 and runs labels SLS and Klap Klap. His tribal techno productions span peak time driving techno to raw hypnotic styles, with releases on Affin, Dolma Records, and Sounds R Us Recordings since 2010.
