Athenaïs returns with a remix EP from her second album LÂCHER-PRISE. Three producers reshape key tracks in their own direction. The final remix comes from Mexican producer Juan Soto, who reimagines IRUKIH. Written after Athenaïs’ first trip to Mexico, the original carries the heat and mystery of the desert. A meeting point between distortion, acid bass and cosmic synths. Soto’s version leans into that connection, adding a disco-tinged, club-ready touch. Athenaïs was playing Juan Soto’s music in her DJ sets while touring in Mexico, making this collaboration feel natural. Mexican producer Jiony opens the EP with a remix of ASSEZ, taking a softer, more playful approach. Known for moving between trip-hop, funk, downtempo and techno, he reshapes the track into something warmer and fluid. South Korean DJ and producer Shubostar follows with a sharper club version, built on a steady groove and spacey synth layers. It’s more direct, made for long sets and bigger sound systems, while keeping the original mood intact. Together, the three remixes give LÂCHER-PRISE a new character. Light for summer.
