DBRA returns to Sounds Of Sirin with ‘Ascendance’ following the success of her ‘Higher’ EP on the label, a two-track organic house release that continues her exploration of multicultural influences and emotional depth. Hailing from Bali, Indonesia, DBRA has built her reputation through a sound rooted in hypnotic rhythms, enchanting melodies and a distinctive ability to blend global influences with modern electronic production. She has performed at major festivals including Wonderfruit and Odyssey Festival, held residencies at W Bali and Savaya, and shared stages with Sabo, Goldcap, Lost Desert and Boris Brejcha. Her catalogue spans Cafe De Anatolia, Exotic Refreshment, WAYU Records and Lump Records, with support from Acid Pauli, Be Svendsen and Blondi. ‘Til Valhalla’ and ‘Memento Mori’ carry the same introspective quality that defined her earlier work on the label, two tracks whose titles point toward themes of legacy and transcendence, territory that has always felt natural to DBRA’s sound.
