Circle of Life welcomes Montreal-based artist Dexter Crowe for his debut release on the label with Secret EP. Australian-born and now based in Montreal, Dexter Crowe has become a familiar name within the city’s underground community, with strong ties to both the local collective scene and the legendary Stereo. His productions balance groove and emotion, combining warm melodies, rolling basslines, and immersive atmospheres. Secret is built around a distinctive melodic bassline that remains at the center of the track from start to finish. Deep pads and subtle textures create a hypnotic backdrop, while a recurring rhythmic lead gives the track its unmistakable identity. The result is a groove-driven cut that feels equally suited for intimate dance floors and late-night moments. For his remix, Bodaishin takes the original into deeper club territory. Built around stronger drums and a more driving rhythmic foundation, the remix preserves the melodic bassline and atmospheric character that define the track.
